My Art

My artwork shows a beautiful tui sitting on a long log. Behind the tui is a ginormous mountain pointing up to the sky on a lovely summer’s day.  Below the Tui is a rocky stream.  The koru in my tui represent my Mum, Dad and my two sisters.

This week I enjoyed maths because we got to make the graph.

In Room 18 we've been learning different soccer skills. Here is a picture of me trapping a ball.

Students in Room 18 have been learning about statistics.  We collected data using tally marks and made a graph to show the data we collected. Here is a picture of my tally chart.

This week I really enjoyed reading. 

Here is one of my reading activities.

The Title is 'Spelling Words'. 

We had to use our spelling words from the week and put them in sentences.

Term 3, Week 1

This is my dairy that I did over the holiday. I wrote 14 entries.

 This is my Penguin Art that we made with Mrs Bassett.

This is another piece of my  holiday homework. It is called Boggle Challenge. 

This week I enjoyed  making the penguin art with Mrs Bassett the most.

After we got out of the car slowly we knocked on the door and we saw Kayden. Kayden opened the door slowly and showed as the way in.

Marshmallow Catapult Madness

Today Room 18 made marshmallow catapults.
We went outside and shot marshmallows onto the netball courts. My furthest was 2 meters and 58 cm, my second furthest was 99 cm and my third furthest was 91 cm. 

ANZAC Day

• Room 18 was learning about Anzac day to remember the people who went to war.  
• ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps

This week I enjoyed working on my

Next week I want to work on my maths because I want to get better at it.
